Lifting of the Makutu

2005 (producer & director), a one hour documentary following the Miru family of West Auckland, and their loss of seven little boys, and geneticist/paediatrician, Professor Stephen Robertson. The film documents his seven year quest to find the genetic mutation for the whanau, and his resultant world breakthrough. (Winner Best Director, NZ Screen Awards 2006, Special Award FIFO (Festival International Du Film Documentaire Océanien).
